The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Organizes “Egypt 2050: Visions for a Prosperous Future” Conference

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform and the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Egypt, organizes a conference titled “Egypt 2050: Visions for a Prosperous Future” on 8 and 9 December 2019.

Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandria, said that the Library aims to engage with several national projects that are vital to the country’s development and progress. He noted that this conference is part of a series of discussions held by the BA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Egypt, to discuss the paths of sustainable development in the country.

Dr. Elfeki also emphasized that the BA ensured the participation of remarkable Egyptian figures who will enrich the discussions with their knowledge and experience in the areas of development and social reform.
