Belal Fadl in Public Session at the BA

The BA Dialogue Forum, in collaboration with “Action” Youth Initiative, hosted Writer Belal Fadl in a seminar on Tuesday, 26 April 2011, entitled “Your Dream… Your Life”. The event drew a large audience.
He highlighted the importance of dreams and imagination, things that have been buried during the past, and emphasized the importance of widening the scope of learning, and setting a unified national plan of action.
Fadl stated that the 25th of January Revolution was after the regime and not the state. The problem, as he sees it, was in the head of the state who lead to the corruption of the political scene and undervalued the Egyptian dignity.
“We cannot disregard the public, for the mistakes of the people are the responsibility of the elite. Whoever does not realize that the solution must come from the people should not complain of whatever will happen in the future, for it is only the people who can protect the Revolution and make it a success”, said Belal.
