He met several Arab intellectuals and writers at the BA pavilion, and confirmed the BA’s upcoming plans to document the history of the Arab Region online. Dr. el Feki furthermore stressed the importance of promoting cultural movements in the Arab Region to its public, describing it as the greatest means of countering extremist thought.

Dr. el Feki expressed sincere gratitude to the Sharjah World Book Fair for hosting the BA among its pavilions, and gifted several Arab personalities with BA publications.

Meanwhile, the BA pavilion itself saw a remarkable turnout; particular interest was given to the Memory of Egypt issues, Abdeen Palace, Arabic calligraphy books, the Awrak series—which specializes in futuristic studies, the writings and research of Iraqi thinker Dr. Gawad Ali, and books concerning the palaces of the Mohamed Ali Dynasty.
