With great sadness, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina mourns the loss of Ambassador Taher A. Khalifa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Head of the External Relations Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina for the past 5 years.
His unforgettable smile and elevated spirit shall remain embedded in the minds of all those whose lives were touched by him. Ambassador Khalifa spent the 35 years of his career serving his country while spreading harmony and fraternity between people. Among those who knew him, he was an icon of modesty, honor and honesty.
We, the Library of Alexandria, offer our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of this truly irreplaceable extraordinary man.
