President of the University of Nice Visits the BA

Dr. Albert Marouani, President of the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis in France, accompanied by a high profile delegation, visited the BA, a landmark not only in Egypt, but in the whole region, on Wednesday, 22 April 2009.
Dr. Marouani was received by Dr. Yehia Halim Zaki, Head of BA Academic and Cultural Affairs Sector, and went on a tour of the Library’s projects and services, in addition to its main facilities, such as the Manuscripts Museum, Antiquities Museum, Sadat Museum, Internet Archive, Culturama Show, and the “Impressions of Alexandria” Exhibition (the Awad Collection).
The tour was followed by a meeting between Dr. Marouani and Dr. Zaki, in which they examined potential cooperation between the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis and the BA.
